Who are the Philadelphia Eagles most important departed characters?
The two biggest names to leave the Eagles during their wild, wacky offseason are the two biggest names from last year’s team: running back Lesean McCoy and quarterback Nick Foles. Both were traded by Chip Kelley, who wields power as head coach and general manager. Some Eagles fans were convinced Nick Foles was going to be great, but more were not. That’s exactly the opposite of McCoy, who most fans loved, and whose departure has left fans shaking their heads.
Who are the Philadelphia Eagles most important new characters?
The Eagles made more high-profile moves this offseason than any team in memory. They brought in the league’s leading rusher, DeMarco Murray, from their arch-rivals, the Dallas Cowboys. Along with Murray, they bolstered their running attack with the often injured but always full of potential, Ryan Matthews. As part of their return for sending Lesean McCoy to Buffalo, the Eagles received promising linebacker Kiko Alonso who played under Kelly in college at Oregon. Last but certainly not least, the Eagles received quarterback Sam Bradford from the St. Louis Rams in return for Nick Foles. Phew, it’s exhausting just to list the changes.
Who are the Philadelphia Eagles most important characters?
This season is all about coach and general manager Chip Kelly. No single executive or coach has staked more of his reputation on this season. By making so many high-profile moves, Kelly has put himself in a position to be regarded as a “”football genius”” if things go well, but also likely as “”fired”” if things don’t. Just to add to the pressure a little bit more, Kelly was accused by a couple of his former players of racism against his African-American players.
What is the most pivotal pivot point for the 2015 Philadelphia Eagles?
Is Chip Kelly a genius? An idiot? Just a hologram representing the actions of a hyperactive teenager playing Madden on Franchise mode?
How will the 2015 Philadelphia Eagles fare?
Despite all the changes, the Eagles record will be similar to last year — question is, will it be enough to get by the Cowboys?
