Italy’s Roberto Baggio hangs his head as Brazil celebrates their 1994 World Cup Soccer championship in the background after Baggio missed Italy’s final penalty kick. The two teams had played two scoreless periods as well as two scoreless overtimes, and the title game came down to penalty kicks for the first time ever, which Brazil won 3-2 when Baggio’s shot sailed over the top bar of the goal.
